Getting fast: maximizing learning on all aspects
of new software product development projects

A new software product development project may be considered as “done” when the users are satisfied and when the cost of operations is known and under control (aka “product market fit” in Eric Ries terminology). How to get to that point as fast as possible considering the risky and diverse activities of design and user experience, software development and operation in production?
Based on stories from recent new software products developed at Le Monde, it appears that spreading and leveling learning on the various project activities from the first day on, helps getting to that point faster.
